| Thumb issue try Magic Carpets | |
| Question: |
Hi Bob. I saw a previous question regarding another bowler who had "thumb issues" and you recommended a product you distribute called "Magic Carpet". I'm interested in this myself but was wondering if you could explain more on how placing something in the back of your thumb hole helps you with your thumb sticking? Thanks for your time! Steve |
| Answer: | This is a carpet type product with an adhesive back the same size as bowlers tape. The difference is it takes the place of 3 pieces of white tape. So you may need to loosen the hole a bit to use Magic Carpet. What makes it work is you get a tight feel but an easy release. The yarn surface of the carpet allows air to get around the thumb and eliminates suction. So you get a clean release and your thumb size stays more the same all the time. The Carpet goes in the back of the thumb hole If the hole is still to big after putting in the carpet you simply put a piece of tape in the front of the hole to customise the fit. If you are interested send me a self stamped self addressed #10 envelope (2 stamps please) and $20.00 to. Bob Korth 750 Hemlock Ave. Central Point, Oregon 97502 This will get you 10 Magic Carpets and an instruction sheet. PS they last a long time but they do wear out over time so having at least 10 is a good idea. |
